Somalia government collapsed in 1991. This resulted in the paralysis of the education system in
the country. Most of the education infrastructure such as university buildings and other necessary
equipment were terribly destroyed. The few buildings that remained were turned to be business
warehouses and sheltered the people who remained homeless after the civil war
